Rock Painters Get Together June 21-23, 2002

                  On June 20, my parents, my husband and I left Glenwood, AR to reach Golden, MO about 235 miles away. Six hours and several wrong turns later we arrived at Golden, a town a bit smaller than Glenwood. After wandering around a bit, we turned into a picturesque store called 'Viney Creek Store'.   My dad walked into the store to ask directions. The man working there offered to show us where we needed to go. We followed him to a house right on Beaver Lake. There Wandra Dee gave us ideas on places to stay and bade us good night. My husband and I ended up staying with my parents at Fisherman's Haven. The room was clean and tastefully decorated and even included a kitchenette. The 21st was mostly spent getting to know everyone and MEETING LIN!
